The Pleasant Ridge Road Utilities Relocation Projects consist of the relocation design of gas, water and sanitary sewer facilities on Pleasant Ridge Road and Merchant Drive in relation to two TDOT roadway widening projects. Phase I of the project extends from Merchant Drive to I-75/I-640, and Phase II runs from the western city limits of Knoxville to Wilkerson Road on Merchant Drive. The projects have a combined length of approximately three miles and will require the relocation of 15,000 LF of gas line, 16,400 LF of water line, and 7,300 LF of sanitary sewer.

Civic has worked closely with KUB and TDOT to assure that all designs and relocations were in compliance with standards and preferences for both agencies. Our company produced preliminary layout plans, construction plans and specifications, estimation of quantities, and preparation of an engineer’s opinion of probable cost.
